zaichik1 Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I am going to be in NYC from the 18th of December 2010 to the 27th of December.First bid was for $120 in the area Downtown Soho for a 4 star hotel, which was rejected with the message that I can get a free rebid if I raise my offer by $30 to $150. I said no and decided to keep bidding with the free rebid-zones which do not have 4* hotels:bid $125 and added Brooklyn (Free Zone for 4* hotels): Rejectedbid for $130 and added Coney Island (Free Zone for 4* hotels): Rejectedbid for $134 and added Long Island City (Free Zone for 4* hotels): Rejectedbid for $138 and added Madison Square Garden (Free Zone for 4* hotels): ACCEPTEDI am staying at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, a great place where I stayed before. The cheapest price online is $266; as a result of Priceline and the strategies learned from www.BetterBidding.com, I am staying there for almost 50% less.Used the PRICELINE link and am grateful to the Better Bidding community for helping me get a good frame of reference before bidding. Many thanksZaichik
