I got the Westin Diplomat at 66$. First Bid was 60$, then 64$ incl. Ft. Lauderdale Airport north, then the 66$ incl. Miramar.

Unfortunately i don't know the area well enough to know of any local parking, but you may be able to find a non-hotel lot which will be cheaper than the garage, assuming you don't need your car during the stay and/or in-out privileges. You may even be able to call the hotel and ask them if there is any alternate parking nearby.
