otistpants Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 I have never used Priceline before and a buddy of mine told me to check out betterbidding.com before I proceed. Great site, very useful for what to expect, and how to proceed with Priceline. Especially when dealing with trying to rebid within the 24 hour window.I was looking for 2 rooms in Downtown Minneapolis (Trying to be somewhat close to the Metradome) for 12/19/10-12/21/10. I started bidding yesterday (12/8/10) on 4* at $45. I worked my way up $3 at a time (rebidding tips) until I recieved the winning bid today (12/9/10) of $60, which I am happy with because I have read good things about this hotel. Earlier I had also tried up to $53 for a 3.5* and that was rejected, so the extra $7 per night, per room for a 4* seems great to me. Hope the fact that I used the link from betterbidding.com to access PRICELINE helps this site out. Thanks
