Priceline Hotel: Please help find hotel around Blue Mountain or Collingwood

Hello there,

I'd like to go to Blue Mountain (Ontario, Canada) and ski for a few days in January 2011 and was wondering if anyone has successfully bid for a hotel around this area? I was browsing around the forum in the summer and thought I saw options ... such as Owen Sound / Collingwood. However, I could have been mistaken because I've just done another search for it recently and was unable to come up with anything on this board.

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you search PRICELINE for Collingwood, ON the closest zones are 30+ miles away... doing the same on HOTWIRE for your dates above shows one 2.5* rated hotel in Collingwood (with no other zones nearby) for $92/nite.

What type of star rated hotel are you seeking and what is your budget?

Are your plans for these dates firm?

I'm looking for the exact same thing for Jan 29-30, its showing 129 (for 3 occupancy) which is a bit much. Unfortunately PRICELINE tries to send you to Midland which is NOT close, like at all.

Hello again!

After looking around for a few days, I've decided to book a hotel online the regular way. Neither Priceline nor Hotwire is able to offer me a better deal in terms of price and location, in this particular situation. Thank you for your replies. Happy Holidays!
