I would like help in identifying 3.5* Midtown Central hotel. Dates are Dec11-14th, 2010. Description is:

Fitness Center

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet Access

$209/night. 65% customer review.

Searching for your dates there is a 3* hotel in the Chelsea zone for $182 with Breakafst, Fitness, Business and Internet... 95% recommended by HOTWIRE users and a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating. My guess is that this 3* is the Holiday Inn MSG which gets pretty good reviews. While a half star lower than the MTC property above (which i'm not seeing on a current search for your dates) it is a little cheaper and better reviewed... i think this is the better value for these dates.

Thanks for all your help. I ended up going directly with a hotel (not through Hotwire) close to Times Square. However, now that I am more familiar with the different areas of Manhattan, I will definitely stay in the Chelsea area. We found that area to be quieter, cheaper and actually closer to things that we wanted to do.
