Hotwire Hotel: Multiple beds in room?

Hello everyone! I check out this board from time to time but have never really had any questions, so today is the first time I have actually registered. First of all thank you for everything you do! My question is this: I am planning a trip to Vegas for 2/17/2011 through 2/20 for seven people. Would like to use Hotwire to book, but is there a guarantee that if I put in 3 and 4 people per room, respectively, that I will receive a room with two beds? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you search on HOTWIRE for more than 2 people in a room, you are guaranteed bedding for the entire party. That is commonly 2 beds, but that could also mean 1 + sofabed or other combination. There is no way to select exact bedding when making a purchase (unless a bed choice option is showing for the listing and that is not very frequently seen. Once booked, you can request bedding with the hotel, but you will have to work with the hotel and the final decision is up to the hotel based upon policy and/or availability.

Additionally, rates are often higher when you select more than 2 adults in the room.
