fattycrab Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Worked on this for many days. First choice was old Madrid/Bourbon Madridbut was tired of not getting anywhere. Many different bids over four days. Hotwire properties were disappeaing so this is what I got for $65 a night. I don't know if there are any other options for so many nights - meaning is there an opaque bidder for weekly stays. Ideas? The Tripadvisor has okay reviews of this property but I think that four stars may be stretching it. Highest bid was 75 for Old Madrid.Taxes were about 88 dollars. Nh hotels can be cute but out of the way.
AaronJB Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Congrats on your success. :)Very nice deal for a longer-term stay. There are no bidding services specifically for longer-term stays, but it is an interesting idea.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
