Also, not sure if it mattered but I used a $40 bonus cash that I purchased from the groupon website. So, I actually bid only $10, but with the bonus cash it was an offer of $50. I hope that helps.

Just a side note, not that it matters, but some of the people we are traveling with were too nervous to use the name your own price feature, so they booked through their hotel (also a 3*, 2 blocks away) for about $130 per night. We saved huge!! I love priceline!
