Jjohnylaw1 Posted April 6, 2005 Author Report Posted April 6, 2005 Sorry about that. Arriving May 19-22.
thereuare Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 The strip hotels are most likely the NYNY or Treasure Island... no way to know beforehand. The Near Strip East hotel has not yet been identified, but it is believed to be the new Renaissance. However, the above are not likley your best bets (another good post showing why the opaque services, excluding 5* properties, may not be the best option in Vegas):If we're correct on the Renaissance above, it is available thru MARRIOTT.com for an average of $199/nite (shows $179 but rate goes higher the last two nites of your stay). You could therefore by on HOTWIRE and if correct that it's the Renaissance you could apply for the Double the Difference (or just buy thru marriott for less 'unknown'.There is also the MONTE CARLO available for $199/nite.Let us know if you need more help and what you choose to do. thereuare Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Once again, Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. How is this hotel different than the hotel you asked about above? As well, we have presentes above the MONTE CARLO, a 4 star hotel, for $199/nite... what would you want the above HOTWIRE hotel (at $238/nite) to be that would make it worthwhile for you to spend an extra $125 for your stay over the Monte Carlo?
