thereuare Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 The amenities of this Scottsdale-Old Town property are common to the area but they do match the Hotel Indigo so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. sharbur Posted January 12, 2011 Author Report Posted January 12, 2011 Using this board's links, I got the following on Hotwire:3.5 North Scottsdale $69Resort, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry, Hi speed Internet, Golf nearbyRecommended in 75% of Hotwire reviews4* Scottsdale $119Resort, Non Smoking Rooms, Pool, Restaurant, Fitness, Golf nearby, spa services, High speed internetRecommended in 85% of Hotwire reviewsI have never been to AZ and my main focus is going to see spring training games, but I'd also like a nice place to stay. sharbur Posted January 12, 2011 Author Report Posted January 12, 2011 The trip has changed, originally I was to go earlier in March but now have a school conflict. The new dates are March 24-26, which I left out.
sharbur Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Posted January 13, 2011 I am looking at different results from this original topic but I understand that it has been combined and i don't know how to change the title of the thread. I am seeing help identifying the following hotes for 3/24 to 3/27, and yes, I used the link from this page:4* Scottsdale area $139/nightResort, Smoke Free Rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Spa Services, High-speed Internet Access, Business Center, Tennis Nearby, Airport ShuttleReco in 85% of reviews3.5* North Scottsdale $75/nightResort, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby reco in 75% of reviewsthank you.
thereuare Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Best guess for the 4* is the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center and that the 3.5* is the Xona Resort Suites... these would be my best guess for each. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. sharbur Posted January 14, 2011 Author Report Posted January 14, 2011 I was not impressed with reviews of Xona, so opted out of that 3.5* option. 4* hotel rate went up again, so I went shopping at Expedia and got a great deal on the Orange Tree Golf Resort: 3.5*, 700 sq. foot suite with kitchen (perfect for parents/teens to have space!). It was on sale yesterday and with taxes and everything it was $130 night out the door. Glad I grabbed it when I did as this morning the 30% discount "sale" rate was gone! Thanks for your help. It is appreciated.
AaronJB Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 Thank you for closing the thread. Please use the site's Expedia link to book your stays via Expedia. Enjoy your stay.
