Was willing to stay in central Boston (no airport or suburbs) or Cambridge. 4 star hotels seemed to be priced about the same as the 3.5 star winning bids. Started my bidding at $75 and used the free rebids until exhausted. Accepted at $89.

Le Meridien site had a prepaid rate of $147 (w/fees & taxes) per night. So about a savings of 27.5% off of LM pricing.

I see my dates are the same as another LM Cambridge poster.

Just to add info, I went up $1 with each rebid until I maxed out and then waited 24 hours and started again at $1 higher than my last failed bid.
