I saw a previous member's win of $50 for the same day, same area. My competitive spirit won over, and I attempted bids of $46 and $49. Both were rejected. So I'll try tomorrow at $50 and hope for the best. I think I have stayed at the Intercontinental before for about the same price, and I would be happy with that (plus a charge for parking, of course).

I will update my post if I win.

If you don't want to wait until tomorrow you have LOTS of re-bid zones when bidding the 4* level in Houston. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

I guess I can't edit the original post. So, for 11/26-27, in Houston (Galleria), the following bids failed:

4* $46

4* $49

3* $39

3.5* 46

And I finally won with a 3* bid at $46 for Hotel Indigo. I figured the Intercontinental might only cost me $4 more on the bid, but then another $16 for parking. Hotel Indigo, as I understand it, has free parking (yep, I'm that cheap). So, I'd call it a win. I'm only staying one night, after all, and I'm sure the Indigo is great. Thanks, BB! I think I even remembered to use your affiliate links this time.
