mymemory Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Posted November 24, 2010 I was expecting to pay less than 100 per night .My stay dates are set.I listed Hyatt on Hudson - because of the area. I wasnt sure which area this is - basically i want to bid on any of the following hotels - even 2.5 star suits my purpose.Newark - Meadowlands (Jersey City)4* Hyatt Regency On The Hudson REVIEW / tripadvisor review4* W Hoboken4* Westin tripadvisor review3* Courtyard by Marriott REVIEW / tripadvisor review3* Doubletree Club Suites REVIEW / tripadvisor review2* Candlewodd Suites REVIEW / tripadvisor reviewBut in priceline - Jersey city is listed as a separate area and medowlands is listed separately.Which area should I be looking. to land marriott or candlewood suites what strategy is advised ?Thanks a lot for the help.
thereuare Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 REGION: Newark-MeadowlandsZONE: Jersey CityJersey City is the zone within the Newark-Meadowlands region... all of the hotels above are located in the Jersey City zone so that is what you would want to select. (this might make it easier to understand the difference between regions and zones: REGION: NYC, ZONE: Midtown East... MTE is a zone within the NYC region)Are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 2.5* or better for this stay?
