Yourebonybbw Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 :) I just book using the HOTWIRE link here a 3.5* hotel with 95% guest recommend near the Fort Lauderdale airport. I landed the Crowne Plaza at 455 State Road 84. A tadbit disappointed because previously I have gotten the Hilton on Griffin Road. Oh well, it's my first time staying at this hotel so maybe it may become one of my favorites. Really good price of $75 plus tax for a 3.5*. Total was $88.75.

Yourebonybbw Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 Amenities were Smoke Free Rooms, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access. Everything appeared to be as reported. I drove to the hotel in the evening and was impressed as I approached the hotel. It's beautiful at night. Easy to get to from the airport. Very close to the airport. There is a $10 parking fee for the garage attached to the hotel. Room was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Hotel is either new or newly renovated with up to date furnishing. The bar, pool, restaurants are on the fifth floor. Higher floors of the elevator the outer wall is glass allowing you to see the beach skyline. Since I am a Priority Club member, I was given a welcome back which consisted of a couple of granola and fiber bars and bottle water. Inside the room was another gift on the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable. This was just an overnight; however, I would love to stay there again to afford the use of the many amenities.
