Priceline Hotel: 3* Salem, NH-Andover, MA (Billerica-Tewksbury) Holiday Inn Tewksbury

I found a 3* on Hotwire for $54 that appeared to be the Holiday Inn based on the amenities listed on the Hotwire Hotel List on this forum. I decided to try a $40 starting bid and work up from there, and the $40 bid was accepted. Lowest available price on Holiday Inn's website was a prepaid rate of $82, so this deal was better than 50% off. The Priceline Ninja Strikes again.

Room was booked using the board's PRICELINE links.

I checked in a few hours ago and this hotel is in upgrade mode. I am in one of the remodeled rooms, which is very nice. Everything is new and it still smells of fresh paint in the hallways. I am very pleased with this deal. The only thing "wrong" with my room is that the remodel includes changing from manual heat controls to a thermostat and my room has not upgraded yet, but there is a thermostat on the wall so that I know what the temperature is.

I wish they could all be this nice :)
