Got the Tropicana. Was not expecting this at all, since the last star rating was only 2.5*! Ah well... next time.

Amenities: Resort, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf, Spa

Edited to add that I just found out that they are completing a $180 million rennovation. So, hopefully the extra star is well earned!

Here are some remarks from me... I did book the Flamingo first, But after seeing on Youtube ..My room in Flamingo i cancelled. Then someone told me about the Tropicana and OH MEN it looks good! Go to the Hotel website and you will see the rooms.. ( and how much it is renovated!) Also on tripadvisor lately the reviews almost all are 5 * and you will also see that the Hotel manager ( Nicole) is replying on almost every review that is placed.

I will be staying at the Tropicana From januari 23 2011 to januari 31.. ( so 8 nights) I dont think i will regret it!

I have a friend that is/was involved in the renovations so thats why i have 8 nights in the paradise tower ( a suite)

I dont think you should be sad by getting the Tropicana but be HAPPY!

Just look at the reviews last months and the price per room nowadays..

So i think you must be happy with the win you got and got Tropicana instead off Hooters ore Riviera...
