Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* NYC (Times Square - Theater District) Westin

Hello,

I want the Hyatt in Hoboken/Jersey City for May 15th one night. I entered this info (2 adults) into hotwire and got a 3.5*, restaurant, pool, business center.

The price was $79. When I changed it to 2 adults, 1 child and it was $76. I went back and forth with the same results. Weird, huh?!

Anyway, I have 2 questions:

1. With what certainty are you that this hotel is the Hyatt on hotwire?

2. Will I do better with priceline? If so, how much should I bid on priceline? The highest star rating is a 3* in Jersey City. Is that the Hyatt?

Actually my 2 questions had several follow ups! Thank you in advance. This site is so helpful.

DCGuy,

Please provide the complete details of your purchase (dates, price, amenities shown before purchase, etc) in order to best help others.

You can still view the amenities by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right portion of their home page.

Thanks!

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

Sorry that I left out all of the details. Here they are:

hotwire.com

-May 15th for 1 night

-times square/theatre district

-4.5*

-$170 a night plus tax

-amenities include: fitness center, spa, high-speed internet, business center

-restaurant(s)

We debated about this and a 4* in midtown east for $169.

Thanks for all of your help!
