I moved this post from the Iowa forum to the Nebraska forum as Hotwire considers this to be a sub-zone of their Omaha region.

Fortunately the town i live in doesn't require me to drive often, but the price of gas has sure skyrocketed lately and i'm sure it's affecting more than a few family's vacation plans! :)
