Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* Mag Mile/Streeterville this weekend--help ID please!

Hi there,

I'm finding a 4.5* for $122, on the dates of 11/20-11/22, in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area.

It has the same amenities as the Intercontinental (smoke free, fitness, restaurant, business, internet), but with a 95% Hotwire user recommendation, and it's listed as 4.5 on TripAdvisor. Intercontinental is 4 on TripAdvisor, and I believe it has a 90% Hotwire user recommendation. Does this seem more likely to be the James or Conrad? I'm a little unsure!

The Tripadvisor information shown by HOTWIRE is not updated in real time (only about once per month) so it's possible that this is still the Inter-Continental but that the TA rating has changed since last updated by HOTWIRE. As well, the percent recommended figure shown by HOTWIRE can change somewhat from one search to the next, even for the same hotel. Based upon the above i wouldn't exclude the InterContinental from the possible outcomes.

Regarding the other two properties, the James has smoking rooms so i would think this one less likely... the Conrad Hilton is a smoke-free property and does have a 4.5/5.0 TA rating, but has not yet been seen with the Smoke Free icon.

Taking all of the above into consideration, i think the InterContinental or the Conrad (with a new Smoke Free icon) are the most likely.... with the James being the least likely.

Thank you! I had kind of figured that was the place, but wanted to check.

I just looked up the prices again, and now I am finding the James (I'm pretty sure--spa and laundry and bed choice are part of the amenities) for $116.

And, of course, I used your HOTWIRE links to search! Many thanks for your help, I will post back if I book something.

I'm seeing a 4.5* w/fitness, restaurant, business, laundry, internet and spa, which would likely be the James. Certainly a good deal for this weekend, which is a tad more expensive.
