Painful bidding session, because November 12 was the first UK regular season home basketball game of the season and November 13 was the last UK home football game of the season.

By the time I made it down to 2* there were no free re-bids, so I did a straight $40.

Property is passable but not pleasant. Friendly staff. Apparently no elevators. Sort of dumpy on the outside and inside, even a little more than most ESAs.

$16 taxi ride to downtown.

Probably would have been better bidding Lexington North at higher levels.

Also, here are rejected bids in Lexington South from that night:

3.5* rejected up to $55

3* rejected up to $45

2.5* rejected up to $45

Looks like sports events decimate room availability in the area.

In fact, my $45 bid on 3* apparently found zero room availability in the entire area at that level, so it kicked me out of Name Your Own Price bidding with this message:

Also, I think this ESA Tates Creek property isn't on the Priceline Hotel List yet.
