Seedless Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 I couldn't find a hotel that matched on the list but there is a 4* hotel for $39 12/12/2010 to 12/13/2010. Tagged with "Recommended in 85 % of Hotwire customer reviews"It has:PoolRestaurantFitness CenterBusiness CenterI looked on Hotels.com and there were a couple that matched but wondering if you had any clues as to what hotel this might be.
thereuare Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board, and as these amenities are somewhat common for the area, and no additional clues provided by HOTWIRE, i don't think we'll be able to gain much insight into this one. The Mercure, Crowne Plaza, Copthorne Effingham and Copthorne Gatwick all seem to be a decent match, but there could be others as well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Seedless Posted November 16, 2010 Author Report Posted November 16, 2010 I bought a 4* LGW hotel for $39/night 12/12 to 12/13, which turned out to be Crowne Plaza Hotels, GATWICK-CRAWLEY. I noticed that there was a hidden reference number at the top of listing. When I highlighted the area right about the red box with the star rating and price it showed up. I do not if the reference number corresponds to a certain hotel or not. Does anyone know what this reference number is, if it corresponds to the hotel it will be quite easy to find future hotels. Ref No. 52050298044.0 starsPrice: $39 per room per nightName: London Gatwick Intl Airport LGW area Hotel (1.0 - 4.5 mi from LGW)Recommended in 80 % of Hotwire customer reviews
Seedless Posted November 16, 2010 Author Report Posted November 16, 2010 Turned out to be Crowne Plaza Hotels, GATWICK-CRAWLEY. I did use the HOTWIRE link. I also found a reference number listed above every hotel, which I wonder if it corresponds to the hotel. If you highlight the area just above the red box with stars and price a field "Reference No" shows up. Anyone know what this field is.
yellowdog Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 SeedlessThank you for sharing your result with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to book this :) Also thanx for the addition for this new property to the BetterBidding Hotwire Hotel List Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.PS. I can't help you with the ref no question.
thereuare Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 The reference number is search specific, not hotel specific, so there is no way to determine the hotel based upon the reference number.Enjoy your stay.
