ukellie Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 We need a decent hotel with comfy beds to put our heads down after an 11 hour flight from the uk arrive 8pm local time, we will be heading off the next day. Has anyone done a priceline bid and been able to narrow down which hotel your bidding on any simple guidance on bidding would be appreciatedthanks ukellie
AaronJB Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to narrow down a particular property when bidding on PRICELINE. If you bid on a 4*, for example, you have to be willing to accept any possible 4* in the area. What are your date/s of travel and what would be your desired budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 Also, if you want to take an educated guess as to the hotel you may receive then HOTWIRE may be a better option as you can often take a guess as to the hotel being offered based upon the amenities shown. However, HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so that is the trade-off.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
