Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip North) Treasure Island

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and this is my first time posting. I'll be arriving in Vegas with my girlfriend from Monday Nov 22nd and flying out at noon on Friday Nov 26th. I'm hoping that staying on weekdays will allow us to get a great deal. *crosses fingers*

I've been looking around the forum trying to find some info on those dates. I believe I've come up with a strategy, but I have some questions.

1. Top priority is to be on the Strip North at hotel that is at least 4*

2. If I can grab a 5* for ~$100 I'll jump on it (I realize that the resort fee is an add on to this)

3. I saw that the reported 5* North Strip hotels are: Palazzo, Wynn and Venetian. Does Trump qualify as North strip even though it's farther away with no casino? (I hope not!)

4. If I can't find a good 5* deal I'll start looking at my 4* Strip North options

5. I saw that the only two reported hotels are: Mirage and Treasure Island. Is that correct?

5. It seems as though all the 5* hotels are on the strip. Does this mean that I'm safe to add other regions like 'West of strip', 'East of Strip', 'Fremont St' in order to rebid within the 24hr window?

Proposed Strategy

I'll start bidding at $70 for 5* North Strip and hope that I'm lucky. I'll add $5 increments until I get to $100 and then I'll give up on 5*. I'll then focus on 4* North strip and start at $40, working my way up in $3 increments.

The Trump is now located in the Strip North Condo zone so this shouldn't be a possibility if you only select the Strip North (without the Condo designation) zone.

You should be able to get a 5* hotel in the North Strip zone within your budget for these dates. At the 5* level you have TWELVE re-bid zones. We ended up deciding to go for a 4* on North Strip instead of a 5*.
