no it wasn't any counter-offer given, they just say no. we need the night from 1/15 to 1/16. thanks for your help!

maximum bid 70U$S, we preffer this hotel, but as i know, the only one is the sheraton 4*. we don't have problem to bid again for a 4*. is that possible?

Unless you know the area extremely well i don't think you can ever be too certain that this is the only hotel available at this star rating, especially since this area isn't bid very often.

I think all you can do is continue to bid and increase your bid by $5 each time until you reach your $70 maximum. This hotel is available for $100/nite direct from the Sheraton website, so if you're $70 bid is rejected you'll have to consider if paying an additional $25 or so would be worth knowing that you'll be at the same hotel and not have to change properties mid-stay.
