prices seem really high during this season... and my flight is booked already... is it worth take a hotel in the financial distrct?

i have tried up to 230$ a night on priceline...

Unfortunately, this 2.5* property has not yet been ID'd; it may be something like the Best Western Bowery or Hampton Inn Seaport, but it could also quite possibly be something else.

tried bidding up to 230$ a night... in all of the typical manhatten regions... cps, mte, mtw, empire, msg, ts..... no luck though

so i have started to look at hotwire... just saw a hotel listed today

midtown central - $229/night

amenities- smoke free, business center, high speed internet

any idea what this might be? tried to check the list but dont see an exact match... pls help if possible

This is likely The Moderne and it is on W 55th St. I just booked it through HOTWIRE for 12/9 -12/12 for $242 per night. After looking around at other sights it looks as if I saved about $60.00 per night.
