Priceline Hotel: 5* Madrid (Around La Castellana) Gran Melia Fenix

To be honest I was expecting it to be Princesa so I started off with a bid that was $15 lower than the hotwire rate for what I thought was that.

2 nights @ $143 and it was accepted. Best rate on net is $214+tax ($320 on their own site) so it seems like a good deal. Gets good reviews on Tripadvisor (ranked #9 overall in Madrid in fact), but a recent Tripadvisor review indicates there might be some heavy duty construction going on around the hotel on the roads, perhaps this is of issue... but looks like a nice place in good location.
