MatkailijaLpr Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Early days but after purchasing a ticket to Kings of Leon concert at Hyde Park thought I'd have a look at accommodation as well. Remembered seeing some wins reported for the Grand at the forum earlier, a quick search confirmed this and also enabled me to start the bidding at a 'right' level. Started the bidding for 4* Mayfair-Soho at $78, added a couple of areas at $2 increments and accepted at The Grand for $82. The original bid was for three nights which I extended to six as I was quite happy with the result and with Hard Rock Calling weekend coming up I needed the extra nights in London as well.Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$82.00 Subtotal: US$246.00 Taxes and Fees: US$53.73 Total Charges for Original Reservation: US$299.73 Extension:Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$82.00 Subtotal: US$246.00 Taxes and Fees: US$53.82 Total Charges for Add. Nights Res.: US$299.82 Used the PRICELINE link as usual.

thereuare Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 oceanannie,With PRICELINE there is no way to target a specific hotel. Rates are date specific and even if you follow the same path as the OP of this thread it would not increase the likelihood that you receive this same property as your dates are entirely different. If you'd like help with your own stay please continue your existing Priceline London thread and we'll help you there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.PS- please don't type in ALL CAPS as it makes your post harder to read. Thanks! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
