zach Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I bid $50 for the Universal area only and got the Holiday Inn International Drive. I'm not crazy about the Holiday Inn chain, and reviews on TripAdvisor are mixed. Hopefully it will be o.k. Hope this helps.

zach Posted April 5, 2005 Author Report Posted April 5, 2005 Yes, this was my first bid, so it's possible it would go for less. And yes, the Holiday Inn I-Drive comes up with the Universal/Sea World zone.
zach Posted April 10, 2005 Author Report Posted April 10, 2005 We're here and it's bad. The HI is on the seedy end of international drive. I wish we had paid retail. I've had great luck with Priceline in the past, but in this case it seems that the hotel uses Priceline because they can't get people in through the front door. I recommend not bidding three stars in the Sea World/ Universal area.
