Hotwire Hotel: First time using Hotwire

Hey everyone -

I have never used Hotwire before and was wondering if someone would be so kind to help out a newbie.

I'm heading to LA and want to stay in West Hollywood/Bev Hills.

Priceline is showing 2 options...

1) 4.5* $182/night

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

2) 4* $169/night

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

High-speed Internet Access

So I have 2 questions:

1) Can someone help me guess which hotels those 2 above are?

2) I need 2 separate beds but neither of these has the bed choice option... Should I still book?

This is your call. There's no guarantee that you will get a room with separate beds. The best thing you can do is to search for 3 adults/2 adults + 1 child. This will guarantee you "separate" sleeping arangements. But second "bed" can be a sleping soffa etc

I also just got a quote from an agency for $199/night @ the W Hollywood... Still comes out to $450 after taxes though.

No unfortunately not... :)

I tried searching again with 3 guests in 1 room but there was nothing that was suitable (1 was too expensive and the other did not have a pool)....

The Mosaic, which appears to be a newer boutique, is $205 on Expedia (and coupon code FESTIVE10 takes $10 off each night) for a deluxe room, which is one or two beds. This is the #1 rated hotel in Beverly Hills on Tripadvisor.
