PeterC2609 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Hi all,I booked NYC last year through price line and got a great deal.Ideally I'm looking at doing the same this year except for the fact that the dates are different. We are looking at arriving in ny on nye. Not interested in the ball dropping or anything, just shopping. So what are we best doing? Trying to get the same hotel for 4 nights or treat NYE as a separate night?I'd be looking for a hotel away from times square as I've done there for the past 4 or 5 visits and am bored of it now! Thanks in advance!Peter
AaronJB Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 NYE is extremely expensive; many hotels, especially the closer to TS - are sold out. If you do want to arrive on NYE, you may have to look to further out zones (ESB, possibly even downtown-soho) for more reasonable prices. I would look at NYE separately, and then the remainder as a separate portion. What would be your desired budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
PeterC2609 Posted October 9, 2011 Author Report Posted October 9, 2011 Sorry for not replying last year...We ended up in the Cosmopolitan, TriBeCa last year. Total of $712 for 4 nights through hotelconxions.com but they are not longer in business.
AaronJB Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Thank you for closing the thread. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
