Hotwire Hotel: Recommended in 95% of Hotwire customer reviews?

Just wondering if anyone has booked a 4* room in Toronto West on Hotwire recently with this in the description. From the amenities listed - Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet - I know from using this board that it could be the Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton, either Intercontinental, or the Renaissance. I'm looking for a room Nov. 26-27 and hoping to narrow it down further, thinking that this rating might be another clue to either rule out or rule in one of the above properties. I'm using the board's HOTWIRE link each time I check. Thanks for your help.

We've seen the % recommended for the same hotel change from search-to-search so i wouldn't put too much weight into this figure shown. (yes, if comparing one hotel at 50% and one at 95% you might gain some insight, but one shown at 85% and another shown at 95% i would use to differentiate two properties)

If you change your search from 2adults/0children to 2adults/2children a 4* hotel with the same amenities appears but also shows a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating. Of the hotels you've listed above the InterContinental Toronto Centre, Sheraton Centre and Hilton all have a 4.0 TA rating, so this may help you narrow the field. HOWEVER, note that the TA info shown by HOTWIRE is not updated in real time, so this is not foolproof either, as the review rating may have changed since HOTWIRE's last update.
