owlisun Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Using the PRICELINE link on Better Bidding, I chose Downtown-Airport Area (SRQ), 4*, and bid $62. My bid was rejected. I re-bid 3 more times by choosing other Sarasota areas ($65, $69, $74) and all 3 were rejected. My 4th re-bid of $77 was accepted by Hyatt Regency Sarasota. The taxes & fees totalled $17.12. Hyatt's Daily Rate for this room is posted on their website as $149 for 10/29/10. I'm pleased, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to win a room for 10/29 with a big party booked in the Hyatt ballroom for that night.
