Priceline Hotel: Late entry

Hi,

I did not find this forum before and did some ineffective bidding on priceline. I got Holiday Inn Express Madison Square Garden (2.5*) @160 from 27 Nov to 1 Dec 2010. Is this rate OK or do you think I will get a better last minute deal? I have been informed that I can cancel the reservation by paying 1 night charges.

I am looking for a gcod 2.5-4* central new york hotel with easy accessibility to a subway.

Nobody can say if rates will get better, or worse, between now and your stay (see the related 'bid early or close to check-in' link in our PRICELINE FAQ).

Currently a higher rated hotel will cost you more, and given that this hotel has good reviews, includes breakfast, and has good subway access, i'd still with it as i don't think you'll do significantly better to account for the $40/nite cancellation fee you've been offered.
