XT600 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 colleague won Holiday Inn City West for above winning bid, ca. 85 EUR - official rate 111 EUR... again the evidence that in Helsinki it isnot worth to use priceline.....nice newer hotel a bit out of town ... better than the older downtown hotels
thereuare Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Thank you for posting and passing along this win.I'm not sure if you're commenting regarding the hotel received or the savings, but while we've certainly seen savings of better than 30%, i wouldn't call such a discount 'not worth it'.Thanks again. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
XT600 Posted May 7, 2011 Author Report Posted May 7, 2011 yes 30% sounds good but 85 EUR worth to accept no flexibilty, no breakfast for a hotel which is a bit out of town? Offial low season rate at Holiday Inn West are 65-75 EUR maybe with same conditions like NYOP....for 85 eUR you get a good hotel room in city center in many non-opaque booking sites e.g. otel.com or yeegoo.com hotels with breakfast included.
