A property with this exact amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board, but my guess is that this is the Hilton Bonnet Creek with fewer amenities then it has previously been seen with.

HOWEVER, this is how i would play it for increased probability...

If you change your search to 2rooms/8adults/0chidlren a different 4* hotel appears with:

Smoke Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Hi-Speed Internet, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Childrens Activities

This is a match for the Hilton Bonnet Creek so that would be my best guess for this one. The price goes up by ~$10/nite but this offering also shows a 4.5/5.0 TA rating, so should my guess be wrong, you're still getting a hotel with excellent reviews.

It's up to you if the extra $10 is worth the 'knowledge' of the hotel you're purchasing having a 4.5/5.0 TA rating.

I did as you suggested, 2 rooms, 8 adults, however the one you listed didn't show up. however two others did. please let me know your opinion of them.

4* Disney Main/Celebration

$116/room/night

Amenities: 1BR, Full Kitch, Comp Breakfast, Daily Housekeeping, fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, 24 Front Desk, Hi-Speed Internet, Condo

the best i can figure is this is Mystic Dunes? However Dunes is listed on Expedia for 94 & 107 (thurs & fri). if this is Mystic Dunes, would hotwire price be more than other advertised?

The other is:

4* lake buena vista-downtown Disney

$156/room/night

Amenities: resort, suite fitness, pool, restaurant, laundry, hi-speed internet, golf, tennis. It also is offering bed choice. ($159/room/night)

the closest i find is Carib Royal. Again when compared with Expedia it is the same price if you do the bed choice option.

Are you aware of instances where the hotwire prices end up the same as alternative booking sites? Or is it possible these are a good value for a higher priced facility? I know you aren't all knowing, but i do appreciate your experience. :)

I am using your links. :) Thanks again.

Best guess for the Celebration condo is the Mona Lisa Suites with a new Complimentary Breakfast icon.

The LBV property matches previous reports for the Caribe Royale Resorts Suites and Villas so that would be my best guess for that one.

Yes, there are times when the HOTWIRE rate doesn't offer much of a discount... if a hotel is busy for a given set of dates, or doesn't choose to discount too deeply for a given time period, they may offer the opaque suppliers a shallow discount, say 10% off... HOTWIRE then marks it up 10% and you're right back at traditional prices.

Also, note that Expedia offers a $25 Food and Beverage credit (i didn't read the full terms of the offer) at the Caribe Royal so you may want to look there if this property is an option (which may even make it cheaper then HOTWIRE when factoring in the food/beverage credit)

thanks for your input. i decided to use the hotwire info to make an educated priceline bid. it appears that hotwire shows a 4* in the seaworld-idrive south area for $84. the amenities match the Westin Imagine. I won the Westin Imagine for $69. I think we'll be pleased with it. I will post on the Priceline forum now.

Travel Dates 11/18/10-11/20/10

started bids at $50 and increments up to $69 and got Westin Imagine Orlando in Seaworld - I drive south area.

Called for fees. $12/day self parking, $20/day valet.

$15/24hours wireless internet. Free internet in business center.

I am adding the fees because i haven't seen them listed conveniently on other travel sites i.e. Expedia.

thanks for your help before on the hotwire forum.
