Priceline Hotel: 2* Montreal (Airport Dorval) Comfort Inn Aeroport

Hi,

I am looking for an accomodation in Montreal for about 40 per night. I don't have demand for star rating. When I look through the history of hotel winning bid for Montreal, I noticed someone got a 2 star Quality INN for $39 in September. Is it possible for me to get something similar? My dates are 12/6 - 12/8. Also, what is the lowest 3* winning bid you have seen for Montreal? There seems to be a big price gap difference between 2* and 3*.

Also the area I'm looking for is either Downtown, Laval, or Longueil

I don't know the lowest priced 3* we have seen in this area, but what really matters is what is avaialble for your dates... if you'd like to try for a hotel in one of the three zones you've indicated above with a $40 maximum bid, let us know if you're willing to pay more for a 3* vs. a 2.5* vs. a 2* OR if your goal is the least expensive 2* or better for this trip and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

I jumped the gun a bit early on this one. I should have been more patient. I wanted to be closer to downtown. The good thing is that there's a bus station in front of the hotel. Regular rate is ~85 Canadian dollar a night.

I think if I had added a dollar or 2, I could have gotten a 2* in the downtown area.

While perhaps not your preferred zone, this does look like some nice savings vs. a conventionally booked room and with the bus stop in front of the hotel it sounds as if this should still work for your needs.
