trophster Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Hi, I am looking to bid on a room on Priceline. I noticed that it says on Priceline that rooms only accommodate up to to adults. I need 4 adults to be accommodated. Is it true that it's just two people per room?
AaronJB Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed. You can request two beds from the hotel, but whether or not that request is accepted is up to the hotel - they may or not may not (it depends on the hotel, day and possibly who you talk to.) HOTWIRE would be a better choice in this situation, as you can search for the amount of people in the party and get some form of bedding (most commonly two beds, but could be 1+sofabed) for the entire party. If you would like assistance with your stay, please provide dates of travel, city, desired zone, budget and star rating.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
trophster Posted October 26, 2010 Author Report Posted October 26, 2010 Thank you so much for your reply. I got a bit bid-happy and wound up booking a hotel already. I was just about to post about it on the board. I guess I would have to call the hotel now to get the room with the double bed. There are 40 days left to my trip so that should be enough time. Quick question, do they ever upgrade a room?Thank you for all your help.
