letournerie Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 I want to bid on a 4 * hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris) with HOTWIRE. We need 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 for 3 people. When I search with this info, am I sure to get a room for 3? I mean, can I be sure these hotels do have rooms for 3?Thanks a lot!
Romelle Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 PRICELINE only promises a room for two. This can even mean just one double bed. If you must have a room for three, HOTWIRE lets you specify the number of people. I don't know what your budget is, but airport hotels tend to be less expensive. If two separate rooms would work, then you could use Priceline. If you want to see some PRICELINE bidding results, use the Quick Search box (top center of page) and enter "charles gaulle". The rates are very date specific of course, both for PL and HW.RomelleYou can take a look at the HOTWIRE offerings by filling out the HOTWIRE link top left on this page. You can just use CDG for destination.
thereuare Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 HOTWIRE guarantees accommodations for everyone you include in your search, so if you indicate 2rooms/5guests you will be sure accommodations for 5 people. What are the date(s) of your stay? What is your expected budget and desired star rating? If you search HOTWIRE for the parameters above does anything appear within your budget and star rating? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
