I am looking to stay anywhere in New York City Manhattan area for as little as possible (hopefully 120) with a 3* or better. Any suggestions? ?

The dates are 10/27-11/1 Wed-Mon

If you look at PRICELINE's Upper East Side and Upper West Side zones, they each go pretty far North... are both of these acceptable?

I will point out that we have seen some GREAT deals at the 4* Grand Hyatt for the nite of 10/30 at price less than $120/nite... would you be interested in SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID in order to try for a 2-3 nites at this 4* hotel and then change hotels for the remaining nites of your stay... or would you prefer to try for a lower rated hotel for the complete stay and not have to change properties?

Let us know the above regarding splitting and if you want to include UES and UWS in your bidding... we'll then suggest a strategy for you to follow.

I would start with the following:

At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* MTE, MTW, TS, ESB, CPS...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $125

Bid the above for your comlpete stay of 10/27-11/1. If that is rejected close the browser, use this link to re-access PRICELINE, and re-try the cycle above for each of the following date ranges:

10/27-11/1

10/28-11/1

10/27-10/31

10/29-11/1

10/27-10/30

10/30-11/1

10/27-10/29

OK, that worked great!! Have a great deal at hilton garden inn for 125 a night from 10/28-11/1, so I still need something for 10/27. Willing to be anywhere for the most part(preferabbly south manhattan area) 2.5* or better, what do you recommend?! In desperation now!
