Safetygirl Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 I'm hoping someone could help me identify this hotel:4* Beverly Hills-West HollywoodBoutiqueFitnessPoolRestaurantWifiBusiness90%, $183/nightNov. 4-6I was really hoping that it would be The Thompson however, in the list of hotels on this site, the Thompson doesn't list the business icon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
thereuare Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! The The Tower Beverly Hills Hotel has previous been seen with this amenity combination so that would be my best guess for this one, although i do have my doubts as this HOTWIRE offering is currently showing a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating whereas the current TA rating of the The Tower is 3.5/5.0. However, the HOTWIRE TA info is not updated in realtime, it's only updated about once a month, so the rating may have changed since HOTWIRE's last update... but as there are quite a few Boutique properties in this zone it could also be another hotel not yet reported to the board or a hotel with a new amenity combination. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Safetygirl Posted October 24, 2010 Author Report Posted October 24, 2010 Thanks for your help. At first I thought it could be The Tower as well based on the amenties. When I checked out The Tower's website, they only charge $129 for a standard king room. Would Hotwire charge more than the posted rates of a hotel? Especially a significant amount more ($54). The Tower is in the midst of a major renovation so I was really hoping I don't get that hotel.
AaronJB Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 While it's not unheard of for HOTWIRE to offer a higher price on occasion (hence the double the difference guarantee), if there is a very sizable difference between regular rate and HOTWIRE, that would be unlikely (not impossible, but unlikely) and this would be something else - possibly an unreported hotel or new amenity set.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
