Priceline Hotel: 2* Montgomery (East) Towneplace Suites

I started the bid with $40 for 2.5 * Montgomery East. Got a counter offer for $12 but just added the free rebid of Montgomery Airport (only 1* offered) and bid $45. This was rejected. Started a new bid for 2* at $30 and got an $8 counter offer. Again added Montgomery Airport and bid $35. Accepted at:

The Montgomery (Downtown) area was greyed out.

Note that on my acceptance from Priceline was a note that this hotel is an extended stay type and only offers twice weekly maid service. There was also a note that the room had 1 queen bed only, although their website shows that they do have other types of rooms. This might be a problem for a family, but not for us on this particular trip. The room does have a kitchenette.

Glad to hear of your success and that the hotel will work well for your needs (as you point out, it may not for some!). Although there is only one bed in the room, there also appears to be a sofabed which may help those in a jam.
