airfare bidding help!!!!

Hi! I am trying to bid on a flight for next week. I was wondering if the bidding options are between the choices they have listed as published prices or if there are other flights you cant see that you could get if you bid?

same thing with HOTWIRE?

When bidding you can receive a flight which is not listed in the 'retail' section of their site.

There is no longer an 'opaque' airfare section on HOTWIRE.

how to bid on flights? I can't find any NYOP option in the flights section??

Click this Priceline Airfare link and then under the search box on the ensuing page is a "BID NOW" button to name your own price.

You can only bid on roundtrip tickets.

It isn't bidding, but I've had some luck with www.onetravel.com for one-way tickets.

Also, some of the airline mileage programs now let you get one-ways - I'm sure of American, but you'd have to check others.
