I bid 4 star in San Juan, starting at $85, using free rebids by choosing all of the different areas except Rio Grande (since there is a resort in that area) one by one. I went from initial bid of $85 to $90, then $95, then $99, then $100, then $101, and finally my bid was accepted at $102. That was our last and final rebid. We are happy with the result for our post-cruise stay, right on the ocean, at what looks like a nice resort property. Our other choice was what looked like the Sheraton OSJ on Hotwire at $95/night.! I think we will enjoy the Marriot for a few bucks more a night.

The total price for 4 nights is $408.00 plus $57.92 taxes and fees for a total of $465.92. Doea anyone know if this Marriott resort charges an additional "resort fee" for Priceline customers, and if so, do you know what it is? Thanks for all the great help I got from this site for both Hotwire and Priceline. It is just incredible!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you're happy with the results and this property will work well for your plans.

This property does charge a resort fee (12% for hotel direct bookings) so i would expect to pay ~$10-$15/nite.

Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.
