AndrewC Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Booked on 7/29. First bid price was accepted, wanted the JW or Hilton b/c of their pools, but this price will work for the Renaissance. Called and asked if they would take my Marriott Points number for this reservation and they did.
AaronJB Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Sweet rate for this property, and glad to hear that they took your rewards #.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
AndrewC Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 Enjoyed the stay at the Renaissance! Spacious room, pool/hot tubs were hardly being used both evenings when we were down there plus nice poolside cabanas. Free ping pong and foosball tables adjacent to the pool. If you eat at the Sports Bar, get the $12 nachos as an appetizer, it's so huge it can be a meal for 2 people! Great value considering other menu options. Universal shuttle leaves at 8AM and 9AM, visit the desk near Starbucks to get a pass. If you want to take the 8AM, you need to go the day before.
AaronJB Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay.
