amamba Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I started out by using the PRICELINE link from Betterbidding. Actually, first I checked Hotwire but wasn't happy with the prices and offerings. Then I visited Priceline and bid $80 for a 4 star in Quincy Market on Saturday, 11/20. I didn't get it, but I was immediately told that if I upped my bid to $100 I would be able to use the same criteria without having to add other areas or star categories. Since $100 is still a fair price for the night, I accepted and got the Omni Parker House. While ideally I wanted the Hilton Financial or the Hyatt Regency, I am still very pleased with my win. This is a cute hotel, and I have stayed here before. After my win was revealed, I was also given an offer to extend my stay on either end for the same price per night.
