Finn
Need some advice on finding a room in downtown chicago from the 21 - 25th of april. Would prefer to stay either in loop/michigan avenue/river north area. Preferably somewhere nice and would prefer to pay less than $70/nite if possible. Any advice on what to do? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! At the 4* level you have 3 re-bid zones, if you're not familiar with re-bidding please read PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask any questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board.Select 4* NMA...Bid $43, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Loop...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* River North...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* NMA and River North...Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $62, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $66, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* NMA and Loop...Bid $58, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $62, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $66, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* NMA and River North and Loop...Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. DDSeeker
Thereuare,I like your use of this "permutation" strategy when a bidder is indifferent to several Priceline zones. My question is this: Why didn't you use a River North/Loop bid? Did you mistakenly leave this off, or is there a statistical reason for this omission? Link to comment
thereuare
Both River North and Loop bids were covered in the other 'dual zone' bids.If started with River North and Loop and raised bids over previous strategies, you miss out on the possibility of those prices being accepted in the NMA zone? That's the short answer, but if you still have questions i'll explain in more detail.
