Hotwire Hotel: has anyone ever seen this?

using HOTWIRE in Boston from Nov 7th to Nov 9th. If I search for a hotel for those nights I get a Hotels.com provided hotel (The Colonnade Hotel) in the back bay/copley square zone for 201.75 per night. Yet if I search each night individually, I see the Westin (only 4 star with a pool and spa in that zone) pop up for both nights at $179 each night.

I'm wondering why the Westin is not available when I search for both nights together, yet is there for both nights individually?

For whatever reason the hotel may not be making their rooms available for multi-nite stays OR the hotel may be offering one room type for one nite and a different room type for the next time, but not the same room type for both nites... there are many filters a hotel can add to have their hotel appear/not appear based upon certain criteria.
