Priceline Hotel: Help with 5* Hong Kong - 12/24 to 12/30/10

Have been bidding up to 5* $175/- for 12/24 to 12/30 hoping to get the Conrad but so far no luck. Any reason why rates are exceptionally high for Hong Kong hotels around this period.

May have to as a last resort, priceline either TST Central Kowloon - which of this 2 area has a better 5 star?

Need all the advice I can get, urgently. Tks
