pmk Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I've been bidding for over a week, and (finally) won a car through PRICELINE!I wasn't too worried about the type of car, so used a tiered approach, based on the fact that I am willing to pay a little more for a larger car:Bid Compact and Economy cars from $11 up to $25, with no wins.In parallel, also bid for Mid-Size and Standard cars from $13 up to $27, with no wins.In parallel, also bid for Full-Size and Premium :) cars from $15 up to $29. Finally won a Full-Size for $29/day from National.Guess I'm happy, since I at least have a car....was starting to get a little worried there! :) I was kind of surprised that I had to go so much higher than previous wins posted here. I guess that just goes to show much it depends on the days of travel and availability of cars! Thanks BetterBidding! Please use this link for PRICELINE bids.Paul
