Priceline Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Dowtown) Marriott Pinnacle

I won this bid after trying for 2 days without success (up to $112.00) to get accomodation in the entertainment district.

I had avoided the downtown area because of the poor reviews of the Renaissance that's now included as a 4 star (used to be 3 + which seems more realistic.)

In the downtown area, I bid $85, $90, 95, 100 and finally got a "win" at $102.

We have stayed at the Marriot Pinnacle 2 or 3 times in the past but not for a few years and have always been pleased with the service and the room. Hopefully nothing has changed.

Booked through the PRICELINE link, of course.

I would like to mention that until about 3 years ago, I used this site and all the great help quite a bit. Since then our travel patterns changed and I didn't need to try "Priceline" again until this week. So very glad that all of the excellent help is still there.
